Avir Health Group invites applications for a Floor Tech to maintain and restore all hard floor and carpeted surfaces across the facility. You will perform routine and restorative floor care, ensure a clean and sanitary environment, and support a safe, welcoming atmosphere for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care, environmental services, or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience operating commercial floor care equipment preferred.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and restorative floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, scrubbing, and refinishing hard floors.
• Clean and maintain carpeted areas using extraction and spot-cleaning equipment.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines for cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain equipment and report repairs promptly.
• Keep floors clean, dry, and hazard-free to promote safety.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed.
• Respond promptly to spills and special floor care projects.
• Collaborate with all departments to maintain a clean, welcoming facility.

AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Floor Tech to join our family!

We are searching for a Floor Tech who is resident and family-focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a positive facility culture. The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of all hard floor and carpeted surfaces throughout the facility. This role is responsible for performing routine and restorative floor care while ensuring a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. • Perform routine and restorative floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, scrubbing, and refinishing hard surface floors.

• Clean and maintain carpeted areas using extraction and spot-cleaning equipment.

• Operate and maintain floor care equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

• Follow infection control procedures and all safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.

• Maintain assigned equipment and report repair needs promptly.

• Ensure floors remain clean, dry, and free of hazards to promote resident and employee safety.

• Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed.

• Respond promptly to spills, emergency clean-up needs, and special floor care projects.

• Work collaboratively with all departments to maintain a clean, attractive, and welcoming facility.

Qualifications for Floor Tech:

• Previous experience in floor care, environmental services, or housekeeping preferred.

• Experience operating commercial floor care equipment preferred.

• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Previous nursing home or healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
