Job summary

Retro Fitness is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain the gym floor, equipment, and surrounding areas inside the outlet. You will represent the brand with a friendly demeanor and pay close attention to detail to ensure a pristine member experience.

The role reports to the Front End Manager and requires availability across mornings, evenings, and weekends to support busy gym hours.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintenance of Retro Fitness outlet main floor.
• Testing equipment for efficiency.
• Stocking of products/items.
• Lubricating and greasing of circuit training equipment.
• Reporting any facility issues to Management/Ownership.
• Spot cleaning of walls, mirrors, windows, and diamond plating.
• Re-racking of weights.
• Disinfecting equipment and upholstery.
• Facility dusting.
• Following company policies and procedures.

Job description

The Floor Tech employee is the face of the gym floor; you are the person a member sees when he or she is working out inside the facility. It is important that this person has a friendly demeanor with great eye for detail. The Floor Tech employee is responsible for the overall upkeep of the fitness floor, equipment, and surrounding areas, walls & mirrors.

Responsibilities of Floor Tech

• Cleaning and maintenance of Retro Fitness outlet main floor.
• Testing equipment for efficiency.

All Floor Tech employees are to wear company staff shirt along with either Khaki pants or black athletic pants. Sneakers must always be worn. No boots, heals, or open toe shoes or sandals. Floor Techs should always be well groomed and neat. Floor Techs are required to complete the Daily Cleaning Checklist and have a Manager sign off before completing their shift.
