Job summary

Vivo Healthcare seeks a floor care assistant to perform cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices. You will safely operate floor care equipment, maintain records, and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.

Responsibilities include carpet cleaning, trash disposal, and assisting with housekeeping and laundry duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with floor care operations required.
• Ability to safely operate floor care equipment.
• Strong record-keeping and reporting skills.

• Assess needed floor repairs or replacement and report to Maintenance.
• Assist with manual labor of cleaning and other tasks required in the facility.
• Remove spots from carpets and perform bonnet and extraction carpet cleaning.
• Dispose of trash and assist with hazardous waste collection.
• Housekeeping and laundry, as needed.
