Job summary

Saint Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to maintain the cleanliness of the facility. You will join the Environmental Services Department and play a key role in preventing hospital infections while delivering compassionate care to patients daily.

The position is full-time with an evening shift 6:00pm-2:30am, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend rotation. Benefits and competitive pay start at $17.50 per hour to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience highlighted in the job details.
• Experience in hospital environmental services is a plus.
• Customer service orientation is important for patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, floors and offices.
• Remove trash, wipe surfaces and perform other cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Handle own trash/linen/bio waste, and lift up to 50 lbs as required.

The Work

• Accountable for cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices.
• Removing trash, wiping surfaces, and any other tasks related to cleaning.
• Each housekeeper is responsible for their own trash/linen/bio removal and must be able to lift 50lbs.
