Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Tech to join our maintenance team. The Floor Tech will be responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall appearance of floors throughout the facility. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing.
2. Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners.
3. Strip, wax, and polish floors according to established schedules.
4. Remove debris, stains, and spills promptly to maintain a clean environment.
5. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.
6. Inspect equipment regularly and report any maintenance or repair needs.
7. Assist with other cleaning duties as needed, including in common areas and resident rooms.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience as a Floor Tech or in environmental services is preferred but not required.
2. Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively.
3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
4. Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
