Job summary

Interstate Premier Facility Services Provider is seeking a Floor Technician to perform floor care across client sites, including offices, corridors, and public areas. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and a team player able to work independently.

Schedule: 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday to Friday. Pay: $20.00/hour. Must have reliable transportation, be eligible to work in the United States, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Must be able to push, pull, twist, bend, and reach.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpets (dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting).
• Applies stripper to floors, removes old wax, and refinishes floors with new wax product.
• Complete assigned areas according to schedule with satisfactory results.
• Use and maintain appropriate chemicals and supplies.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely and properly.
• Observe safety precautions and report hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM Monday to Friday

Pay: $20.00/hour

Job tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of areas that include offices, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells and other public areas.
• Applies stripper to floors (slippery surface) to remove old wax then refinishes floors with new wax product.
• Responsible for satisfactory and timely completion of assigned project area according to schedule.
• Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Use and maintain equipment properly.
• Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely
• Observe safety precautions at all times (uses safety signs "wet floor")
• Reports safety hazards as appropriate
• Perform other duties as assigned
