Catholic Care Center is seeking a part-time housekeeping team member to clean and sanitize resident rooms and common areas, supporting a healthy, comfortable environment for residents. The role includes following a cleaning schedule, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance needs.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably two years of housekeeping experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience working in a team-oriented environment with attention to infection control and safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Receive and follow cleaning schedule and instructions.
• Create and maintain a clean, sanitary environment free from odor, debris, and clutter.
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing procedures for resident rooms and floors
• Restock room supplies.
• Report maintenance needs observed (e.g. burned out light bulbs).
• Ensure safety using caution signs, proper chemical use and storage, and awareness of hazards.

POSITION SUMMARY

• Parttime
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms and bathing areas, creating an environment for the health, comfort and well-being of residents residing at the ministry.
• Responsible for some efficient processing of ministry laundry.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and follow cleaning schedule and instructions.
• Participates in creating and maintaining a clean, sanitary property free from odor, debris, and clutter.
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing procedures for resident rooms and floors
• Restocks room supplies.
• Report maintenance needs observed (i.e. burned out light bulbs).
• Assumes responsibility for providing a safe environment by the proper use of caution signs, proper chemical use and storage, reporting hazardous situations and broken equipment, proper use of equipment and supplies, and knowledge of fire and disaster procedures.
• Assure compliance with infection control, personal protection equipment, blood borne pathogens, hazardous material handling and fire safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years housekeeping experience preferred.

Must possess strong collaborative, interpersonal, organizational, multi-tasking, verbal and written communication skills, and a desire to create a high-performance, effective team that can produce consistent, demonstrated results.

Must demonstrate on an ongoing basis the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with co-workers and ministry leadership.

Competencies needed for this position include strong interpersonal relationship skills, detail oriented, work in collaboration with others, demonstrate a high degree of integrity and personal commitment, possess strong analytical skills, be able to work independently and manage multiple deliverables at the same time.

Ability to function in a matrix environment and demonstrate a passion to succeed be self- motivated, dependable, committed, and a willingness to see a project through to its conclusion.

Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
