Job summary

BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX is seeking an evening-shift, full-time Environmental Services Floor Technician to keep patient areas and facilities clean and safe.

Responsibilities include comprehensive floor care (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, buffing) on hard surfaces and carpets, plus stairwell duties. Preferred candidates have high school diploma and some infection-control cleaning experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in cleaning or facilities environment.
• Infection control cleaning protocols and terminal room cleaning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Floor maintenance including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, buffing, and burnishing on hard surfaces; bonneting and extracting carpets.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors across areas including stairwells.
