Position Overview

This role supports store management in achieving store objectives and increasing revenue and customer loyalty. The ideal candidate is versatile within store roles, responsible, reliable, and possesses strong leadership skills. The key holder position is crucial during emergencies, such as COVID-19 outbreaks, to support store management.

Physical Requirements
  • Stand constantly

  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus
Responsibilities
  • Assist store manager in meeting daily store objectives
  • Oversee all cash functions, including opening and closing procedures
  • Make confident and assertive decisions, especially when leading alone
  • Monitor and encourage team members to meet service standards
  • Proactively resolve customer concerns and escalations
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Promote a positive work environment and team morale
  • Train new team members and coach on KPIs and sales goals
Qualifications
  • Must be 21 or older and pass a background check
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 0-2 years retail experience; key holder experience preferred
  • Trustworthy with confidential information
  • Minimum two years retail customer service experience
  • Knowledge of cannabis products from regulated retail or medical distribution is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive attitude, able to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation with a clean driving record; willingness to support neighboring stores (lodging provided)
  • Comfortable following COVID-19 precautions
Additional Details

Part-time, hourly position. Salary based on experience and interview success.
