FALLS STAMPING & WELDING COMPANY in Ohio seeks a quality inspector to ensure the quality of all incoming and outgoing products, conduct floor audits, and advocate for quality across the shop. The role requires reading blueprints and GD&T, plus use of micrometers and calipers to verify part dimensions.

You will perform receiving and final inspections, assist with prototype inspections, and work with Quality Management on inspection projects, while adhering to WI905 procedures for nonconforming

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Familiarity with standard and metric measuring equipment.
• Document notes in computer and maintain inspection records.

Responsabilités

• Read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Use micrometers, calipers and other measurement tools.
• Perform receiving inspection on occasion.
• Assist in final inspections when required.
• Perform machine inspections per part criteria.
• Collaborate with Quality Management on inspection projects.
• Inspect prototypes and new parts as needed.
• Verify operator inspections follow the inspection card requirements.
• Follow WI905 for nonconforming product rejection.
• Assist in layout inspection when required.
