We are hiring immediately for a full time and part time FLOOR PROJECTS TECHNICIAN position.

Location: Huntsville Memorial Hospital - 110 Memorial Hospital Drive, Huntsville, TX 77340. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time and part time schedule. Monday - Friday 10:00 pm - 6:30 am. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous experience as a floor technician, specializing in floor stripping and waxing.

Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

  1. Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
  2. Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
  3. Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface.
  4. Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
  5. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
  6. Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
  2. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
  3. Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
  4. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
