Job summary

Restaurant Depot in Chicopee, MA is seeking an Assistant Floor Manager to support the Floor Manager in maximizing product availability, freshness, and sales while ensuring safety and customer service excellence.

You will lead a small team, coordinate tasks, train staff, and maintain quick, friendly service in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with regular shifts of 8–10 hours and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop and train team members.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to manage warehouse operations effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to communicate clearly and listen attentively.
• Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform the job.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse setting a plus.
• Experience with handheld scanners a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction and a safe environment.
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service with sincerity and respect.
• Communicate with customers and respond to questions promptly.
• Operate equipment according to OSHA guidelines.
• Follow HACCP and maintain 'Always Fresh' standards.
• Assist with product presentation, rotation and replenishment.
• Maintain in-stock levels and monitor inventory counts.
• Train and assist department staff; participate in hiring and scheduling.
