Job summary

Boundary Waters Care Center in Minnesota is seeking dedicated LPNs to provide compassionate nursing care to residents. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with full and part-time positions available. You will support the care team, administer medications, and participate in care planning to ensure high-quality resident outcomes.

• Experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, and community policies.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and intervene as needed to ensure health and safety.
• Lead CNAs and other direct care staff to ensure consistent, quality care.
• Communicate changes in resident status to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in care planning, resident assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Uphold infection control, safety, and emergency response protocols at all times.
• Promote dignity, comfort, and respect in all resident interactions.
• Respond promptly to call lights and urgent care needs with a calm and professional presence.

What You Bring to the Table (Besides Your Clinical Skills & Big Heart)

Licensure & Credentials:

• Active LPN license in the state of employment required.
• CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Experience & Skills:

• Previous experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred, but not required.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure while leading others.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout a full shift.
