About The Position
  • Memory Care - shift 11pm-7am

The Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse is responsible for enhancing the overall Resident and family experience through the provision of the nursing care and leadership required to ensure the health and well-being of residents who depend on Grand Living for assistance. This includes providing direct care, administering medications per physician orders, and evaluating and supervising nursing staff and aides to ensure quality care. All interactions should be friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional, ensuring high Resident and team member satisfaction. The position reports to the Director of Health and Wellness, adhering to community standards and procedures.

Qualifications And Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Nursing, required.
  • Three or more years’ nursing experience, preferred.
  • Assisted living or home health care experience, preferred.
  • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment, required.
  • Ability to obtain any required government license or certificate.
  • Proficiency in English for communication, training, and supervision.
  • Knowledge of resident rights and ability to maintain a safe, respectful environment.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 30 pounds.
