The Architect of the Capitol's Senate Office Buildings, Client Services Division, Floor Care Unit, seeks a Floor Maintenance Technician responsible for cleaning floors, carpets, walls, and various surfaces across the Senate Office Buildings.

The role requires the ability to operate heavy-duty floor and carpet cleaning equipment and perform cleaning with minimal supervision to maintain a safe, clean environment.

Summary

This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Senate Office Buildings, Client Services Division, Labor and Custodial Branch, Night Labor and Custodial Section, Floor Care Unit. The Floor Maintenance Technician is responsible for cleaning floors, carpets, and walls along with surfaces made of bronze, concrete, glass, plastic, linoleum, marble, porcelain, sandstone, stainless steel, title, and wood throughout the Senate Office Buildings.

You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position. Your resume must show that you have the ability to perform floor and carpet care/cleaning along with operating heavy-duty floor and carpet cleaning equipment without more than normal supervision.
