Veterans Thrift Stores in El Cajon is seeking a full-time Floor Clerk to greet customers, help on the sales floor, keep merchandise organized, and support the team at our local store.

You will handle cart returns, maintain a clean, well-stocked environment, and may assist at the cash register. Schedule includes Sunday and Monday-Thursday or Tue-Sat; benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, paid sick days, and 401(k). Drug screen and background check required.

This is a full-time, on-site Floor Clerk position at our El Cajon location. The Floor Clerk will be responsible for assisting customers on the sales floor, organizing merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, returning shopping carts, and may assist on the cash register. Additionally, the role involves providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to assist and engage positively with customers
• Organizational skills to maintain a clean, wellstocked, and orderly store environment
• Reliability and a punctual work ethic
• Be able to lift up to 35lbs independently and safely
• Previous experience in a retail or customerfacing role is a plus, but not required

Schedule: Sunday 9:00am - 5:30pm and Monday through Thursday 3:00pm - 7:00pm or Tuesday to Saturday 10:30am - 7:00pm
