Job Position Description:

This role involves cleaning, maintaining, and repairing carpeted and hard floor surfaces. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing all floor cleaning and maintenance duties using ServiceMaster-provided tools and procedures, including sweeping, mopping, polishing, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, stripping, waxing, buffing, moving furniture, and spot cleaning.
• Gaining a thorough understanding of buffing, stripping floors, waxing, and identifying different flooring types.
• Operating various floor equipment and machinery.
• Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 55 lbs.
• 1-2 years’ experience as a floor technician is preferred but not required; training will be provided for those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility and ability to work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked environment are essential.
• Dependability, being in uniform, and punctuality are expected.
