ServiceMaster Clean is seeking a Floor Cleaning Technician to maintain and repair floor surfaces for businesses in Kalamazoo. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team. Experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. FLOOR CLEANING TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION
Do you work well with others, have an eye for detail, and a desire to learn? Do you have the ability to solve problems and create solutions while serving customers? If so, you may be the perfect candidate for this position. Having leadership ability or project management experience is a plus.
The hours will vary but usually second shift, Monday through Friday. Some businesses request cleaning on a Saturday, and we will work out a schedule with them.
Experience is preferred but not required, including: (1) stripping and waxing floors, (2) cleaning ceramic tile and grout, (3) cleaning carpets, and (4) deep cleaning. We provide training, uniforms, vehicles, equipment, and products to perform the work professionally. The starting pay is $17-20/hour depending on experience. Pay increase opportunities are available based on completed training.
This position is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and repairing carpeted and hard floor surfaces in businesses. Other duties may be assigned.
Compensation: $0.17 - $0.20 per hour
