TouchPoint is hiring a Floor Technician in Evansville, IN, for full-time work with day-to-day responsibilities including floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment. Training is available, and the role may require nights and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous floor technician experience is preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Perform restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
