Job summary

KingsClean is hiring Floor Care Technicians to join our team at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. The role focuses on routine floor-care services, including stripping and waxing floors, carpet extraction, buffing, burnishing, and deep cleaning to keep university facilities clean and safe.

Applicants should have floor-care experience, be available Thursday through Sunday, and be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Floor-care experience is preferred.
• Training may be provided to qualified candidates.
• Must be available to work Thursday through Sunday.
• Flexible schedule, as hours vary by project.
• Ability to perform physical work throughout shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend and kneel for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check and fingerprint screening.

Responsibilities

• Strip and wax hard-surface floors.
• Buff and burnish floors.
• Perform carpet extraction and deep cleaning.
• Scrub and maintain VCT, tile, and other flooring surfaces.
• Move furniture and prepare areas for floor-care projects.
• Clean and properly store equipment after each use.
• Follow project schedules and supervisor instructions.
• Report equipment, maintenance, and safety concerns.
