Job summary

Six Mile, LLC is seeking a full-time Floor Technician to join our team. This role performs heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning and waxing floors, shampooing rugs, maintaining linoleum flooring, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Duties may include repairs and snow/debris removal as needed. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, trash collection, window cleaning, restroom servicing, dusting, and furniture polishing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior floor stripping and waxing experience is required.
• Knowledge of floor buffing machines or carpet extraction equipment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Strip and wax floors and perform carpet cleaning.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming with a backpack vacuum.
• Gather and empty trash; service restrooms; clean windows and glass surfaces.
