Job summary

Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital is seeking a floor care technician to perform daily cleaning, maintenance of floors and carpets, and floor refinishing throughout the facility. This role involves handling bio-medical and hazardous waste according to regulations and delivering excellent service to patients and staff.

Experience with cleaning agents, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong English communication are required. A sign-on bonus is available up to $2,000.

Qualifications

• High School, Cert, GED, Trn or equivalent.
• Must communicate effectively in English.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily project assignments along with daily cleaning and maintenance of hard floor and carpets throughout the facility that is consistent with organization standards.
• Strips and refinishes floors.
• Dispose of bio-medical and hazardous waste as regulated.
• Deliver exceptional service to patients, guests and others while working around hazardous materials and infectious diseases.
