Job summary

Sizemore is seeking a Floor Care Technician in Fridley, MN to maintain hard surfaces and carpet at client sites. You will operate specialized equipment, follow safety rules, and collaborate with the Building Maintenance team to deliver reliable cleaning services.

The position offers a 42-hour workweek on a 6-day schedule from 3:30 AM to 11:00 AM, with weekly pay at $16.00/hour. E-Verify is used in the hiring process; bilingual applicants are encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Some cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and work independently.
• Ability to engage in respectful communications with coworkers, customers and store personnel.
• Punctuality and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform hard floor care including mopping, scrubbing and buffing.
• Maintain carpets via vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extraction.
• Provide other cleaning duties such as dusting and restroom cleaning.
• Operate floor care machines safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
• Follow all safety requirements and report time worked and equipment issues.
• Interact respectfully with customers and personnel; aid as needed.
• Ensure equipment is in working order and request supplies as needed.
• Assist with floor stripping and waxing as trained.
