Job summary

HHS Government Services LLC is seeking a Floor Technician at Fort Cavazos, TX to maintain and improve the appearance of all floor types across the facility. The role is full-time and requires adherence to safety procedures and proper use of floor-care chemicals and equipment.

Candidate should have at least one year of floor technician experience and be able to read, write, and understand English. The position involves standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing routine floor maintenance tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience as a floor technician.
• Knowledge of floor care, chemicals, and proper use of them.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Place caution sign before any floor work.
• Clean baseboards, corners, and kick plates.
• Follow policies and procedures to perform floor care.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment and use proper chemicals.
• Move furniture as needed for floor care.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Inspect work and secure areas before leaving.
