Federal Maintenance Hawaii LLC is seeking a dependable Floor Care Technician to keep our facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. Your meticulous work supports a productive environment for all employees and visitors.

The role covers floor care including scrubbing, stripping, waxing and buffing with appropriate machines, carpet shampooing, and reporting maintenance needs. Shift is 2:30pm–7:00pm, Monday through Friday, about 20–25 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must have a driver's license to load and offload supplies.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to tasks.
• Must be able to complete cleaning tasks within designated timeframes while maintaining high quality.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend and lift.
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude.

Join our team as a dedicated Floor Care Technician, where you will play an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. In this position, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our facilities remain spotless and welcoming for all who use them.

Key Responsibilities

• Must be able to Scrub, Strip, Wax and Buff floors with floor machines & proper equipment.
• Shampoo carpets with floor machines.
• Report any maintenance or repair requirements to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate any challenges encountered during the shift.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to tasks.

• The ability to work both independently and with a team.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

Shift Availability

2:30pm-7:00pm

Monday-Friday (sometimes weekend)

20-25hrs weekly
