Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Warehouse Floor Technician in Richmond, VA. This full-time role involves various floor care tasks, from stripping and waxing to carpet maintenance, with shifts across days and some weekends. Starting pay is $16.80 per hour.

You will operate janitorial equipment, follow safety protocols, and report issues to supervision. Benefits are available with full-time status, including insurance options and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• One year of prior floor care experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear PPE as required.
• Good physical stamina for lifting, bending and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout, etc.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
• Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture and objects when necessary and follow safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Report to Supervisor needed repairs or safety hazards and follow company policies.
