Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain clean and safe floors in a long-term care facility in Bartlett, TN. You will perform routine floor care tasks, operate equipment, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and resident comfort.

The role emphasizes safety, infection control, and excellent customer service as you work with residents, staff, and visitors. Prior floor care is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with occupants and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
