Job summary

The Grandview by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeping Utility Worker in North Bethesda, MD. You will clean building areas, floors and surfaces, set up rooms for events, and remove trash while upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques preferred.
• Ability to safely operate carpet care and hard floor care equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• May require a valid driver’s license.
• Motor Vehicle Record check if driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the community through the operation of specialized equipment.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste.
• Utilize work orders to ensure proper room/furniture setups.
• Assist with movement and delivery of heavy objects/packages.
• Remove trash including, refuse and recycling.
• Maintain hard floor surfaces, including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, and waxing as well as carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.
