Job summary

Yona Solutions is seeking a Floor Care Technician to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. You will be responsible for hard floor maintenance, carpet care, and operating floor care equipment to keep resident areas clean and safe.

The ideal candidate has prior floor care experience, knowledge of equipment and safety procedures, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. We offer comprehensive benefits including health, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing
• Utilizes equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use
• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
