Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors within a long-term care facility. You will contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that supports positive experiences for residents and staff.

Key responsibilities include performing floor care tasks, operating equipment safely, and following infection control policies. Preference for a high school diploma; residency in the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks in resident rooms and common areas.
• Operate floor care equipment safely.
• Document floor care activities and report issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.
