Ideal candidates have floor care experience and knowledge of equipment, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Must follow safety procedures and work with lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of floor maintenance principles and proper hard floor procedures.
• Operates floor care equipment for large areas and surfaces.
• Performs carpet care including shampooing, extractions, and spot cleaning.
• Adheres to safety precautions and disinfects equipment after use.
• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing
• Utilizes equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use
• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to be at work on time and at varying times of day/night
• Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance
