Job summary

Spokane Falls Care in Spokane, WA is seeking a Floor Care Technician to maintain, clean and restore all flooring surfaces while ensuring a safe, sanitary environment for residents and staff.

This on-site role requires the ability to operate floor care equipment, follow infection control protocols, and collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure supplies are available and floors always look their best.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle tools and equipment.
• Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, clean, and restore all flooring (carpet, vinyl, tiles, etc)
• Ensure a safe, sanitary, and aesthetic environment
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols
• Strip, wax, buff, and burnish floors using power tools
• Communicate with housekeeping or maintenance department if you need more supplies such as chemicals, gloves, parts, etc.
