Job summary

Louisa Health & Rehabilitation Center, a 90-bed healthcare center in Louisa, is seeking experienced Floor Care Technicians to maintain a clean, sanitary environment for patients and staff. The Floor Care Technician strips, scrubs, sweeps, refinishes, and buffs tiled floors, vacuums carpets, and works effectively with patients and colleagues in a team setting.

Prior floor care experience and knowledge of cleaners and equipment are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor cleaners and application practices.
• Maintenance of floor care equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, sanitary environment for residents and staff.
• Strip, scrub, sweep, refinish and buff tiled floor areas; vacuum and spot-clean carpets.

The Floor Care Technician maintains a clean, sanitary environment. The Floor Care Technician strips, scrubs, sweeps, refinishes, and buffs all tiled floor areas of the center, utilizing the proper equipment and procedures. They vacuum and spot clean all carpets throughout the center, and work effectively among patients, family members, and external and internal customers in a team environment.

Previous floor care experience is preferred, as well as, knowledge of chemicals, cleaners, application practices and maintenance of floor care equipment and supplies.
