Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain clean and safe floors in a long-term care facility. You will perform floor care tasks, operate equipment, and keep records while adhering to infection control standards and delivering friendly, resident-focused service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
