Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Floor Tech to keep floors clean and presentable in a long-term care facility. The role emphasizes safety, infection control, and positive interactions with residents and staff as part of daily responsibilities.

Everyday duties include cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors, operating floor care equipment, and following policies to maintain a sanitary environment. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work around cleaning products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.

Responsabilités

• Perform floor care tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
