Pay for this position is $16.83/hour. This is an Hourly position.


Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing duties according to established procedures and maintaining a safe environment by reducing microorganisms, for the benefit of patients, visitors, and Mission Partners.

Possesses technical skills required to properly use chemicals, equipment, and techniques of the Environmental Services Department. While executing assigned tasks, the Floor Care Tech will have contact with patients and their families/loved ones. Contact may include physical, psychological, educational, and safety-related interactions appropriate to the demographics of patients served in assigned areas. Responsible for responding favorably to requests to adjust daily workflow or area assignment to meet facility needs. The EVS Tech, in accordance with standards of quality, is an essential contributor to hospital disinfection and infection prevention.

  • Experience: 1 year employment in healthcare setting
