Job summary

Commercial Flooring Systems, Inc. is seeking a reliable Full-Time Floor Technician to join our facilities team in Omaha.

You will clean and maintain tile, carpet, vinyl, concrete, and hardwood floors to keep environments safe and attractive, using a range of floor care machinery and supplies. The role requires independence and teamwork, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and availability for evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate cleaning equipment.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors using manual and powered equipment.
• Strip, wax, buff, and polish hard surface floors as needed.
• Extract and spot clean carpets using carpet cleaning machines.
• Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues.
• Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE at all times.
• Assist with general janitorial duties when required.
• Monitor and restock floor care supplies.
• Communicate any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly.
• Follow established procedures and schedules for floor maintenance.

Commercial Flooring Systems is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Full-Time Floor Technician to join our facilities team. The Floor Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining various types of flooring, including tile, carpet, vinyl, concrete, and hardwood, to ensure a clean, safe, and attractive environment. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for floor care and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

You must have a valid driver's license, pass a background check, and have reliable transportation to and from our facility at 108th and L Street.
