Job summary

Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, CA seeks an Environmental Services Technician responsible for floor care and general cleaning in patient and common areas. The role involves floor stripping, waxing, cleaning upholstery, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment in a hospital setting.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 months of customer service experience; 2 years in floor care or Environmental Services is preferred. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, HSE or CHS Approved IEP Certificate required.
• 3 months of experience working in a customer service environment required.
• 2 years of floor care or Environmental Services experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor maintenance tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing hard surfaces in patient and common areas.
• Use specialized equipment to deep-clean carpeted areas and maintain upholstery and furnishings as needed.
• Clean and maintain upholstery, furnishings, and surfaces in patient rooms and common areas according to established procedures.
