Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare at Woodwind Lakes in Houston, TX is seeking a Floor Tech to help keep our building beautiful and safe for residents and staff. This full-time day shift role focuses on floor care, cleaning, and maintenance using industry-standard equipment.

You will operate floor machines, strip and refinish floors, shampoo carpets, and follow safety procedures. Prior experience preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred
• Must understand and follow safety procedures while operating equipment
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of floor care principles and use proper procedures for hard floor care (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing)
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming)
• Execute maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager
