Job summary

Lowry Hills Care is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments for residents in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Aurora, Colorado.

The role focuses on floor care, restroom and common area cleaning, and using floor equipment to wax and buff surfaces. Part-time schedule Fri-Sun, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, paying $17.50–$18.00 per hour depending on experience; prior SNF cleaning experience is a plus and leadership of janitorial staff is welcomed.

Qualifications

• 1 year floor care experience (preferred).
• Experience in skilled nursing care facilities is a plus.
• Experience leading janitorial workers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mandatory compliance with safety requirements and procedures including use of PPE.
• Collection and removal of heavy-weight trash and debris.
• Routine floor care including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of carpets and hard surface floors.
• Use of floor equipment to wax and buff hard surface floors.
• Detailed cleaning projects requiring keen attention to work quality.
• Restroom cleaning and disinfecting of sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
• Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Directors or NHA.
