Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain clean, safe, and presentable floors across a long-term care facility. You will operate floor care equipment and follow infection control policies to support a healthy environment for residents and staff.

Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Residency in the service area is required; prior floor care experience is welcome but not required, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effective communication with occupants and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Must lift/pull up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks: cleaning, buffing and refinishing floors in rooms and common areas.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions for a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests, delivering quality service.
• All other duties as assigned.
