Job summary

Yona Solutions is seeking a Floor Care Technician in Southgate, MI to maintain clean and welcoming environments for residents, visitors, and coworkers. You will perform floor maintenance, carpet care, and operate floor care equipment as part of daily responsibilities.

Candidates with prior floor care experience and knowledge of equipment are preferred. You must follow safety procedures, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and be available to work varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience or related role.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and precautions.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and perform stripping, refinishing and burnishing.
• Use equipment to clean large areas of floor surfaces.
• Perform carpet care including shampooing, extraction, spot cleaning and vacuuming.
• Operate floor care equipment as assigned.
• Perform maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Disinfect floor care equipment after each use.
• Follow safety precautions and properly mix/use cleaning solutions.
• Carry out other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
