Sodexo at UT HEALTH CARTHAGE is seeking a Floor Technician to provide high-quality cleaning services and maintain a safe, healthy environment for patients and staff. This full-time role offers weekday afternoon/evening shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and safety-minded.
• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and carpet care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
