Job summary

Marsh's Edge is seeking a Floor Technician to support maintenance and housekeeping in preventative flooring programs across the campus on Saint Simons Island, GA. You will help keep floors clean, safe, and well‑maintained, assisting with repairs and equipment servicing.

The role requires a high school diploma, some technical training and janitorial experience. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally travel for training may be involved.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED required.
• Technical training in mechanics, electrical, plumbing or HVAC desired.
• Janitorial or maintenance experience required.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar janitorial position desired.

Responsibilities

• Represent the campus positively and promote safety and well-being for residents and employees.
• Maintain HIPAA standards and keep information confidential.
• Clean and sanitize all flooring throughout the campus.
• Repair damaged flooring including tile, hardwood, concrete, carpet, and linoleum.
• Clean, service and repair janitorial equipment; restock supplies as needed.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner and assist with emergency situations.
