Job summary

Northcrest Nursing & Rehabilitation Center – Napoleon, OH, is seeking a dependable Part-Time Floor Care & Painter to join our team. This role combines floor care duties with interior painting and touch-ups across the facility.

The position offers hands-on work maintaining floors, walls, and surfaces, with opportunities to contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care and/or painting experience preferred.
• Dependable with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned projects.
• Comfortable performing physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting, moving equipment).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine floor care: cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing.
• Complete interior painting and touch-up projects.
• Prepare walls and surfaces for painting.
• Maintain resident rooms, hallways, common areas, and other spaces.
• Operate floor care and painting equipment safely and effectively.
• Support Maintenance Department with general projects as needed.
• Follow safety and infection-control procedures.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Part-Time

Northcrest Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking for a dependable and motivated Part-Time Floor Care & Painter to join our team!

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping a facility looking its best, and can assist with both floor care and painting projects throughout the building.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine floor care, including cleaning, buffing, stripping, and waxing

• Complete interior painting and touch-up projects throughout the facility

• Prepare walls and surfaces for painting

• Maintain resident rooms, hallways, common areas, and other facility spaces

• Properly use and maintain floor care and painting equipment

• Assist the Maintenance Department with general projects as needed

• Follow all safety and infection-control procedures

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous floor care and/or painting experience preferred
