Description

The Floorcare Maintenance Technician role within Real Estate Operations is responsible for floor maintenance, upholstery cleaning, and providing temporary coverage for routine office cleaning and janitorial services within our retail and back-office facilities.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of sites where your duties include stripping and waxing floors, carpet cleaning, and deep cleaning various floor types. Work orders will be issued for each location to be completed twice yearly.

Primary Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining various flooring types (VCT, ceramic, carpet, wood, LVT, vinyl sheet, rubber tile, etc.)
• Using floor machines and extractors to clean and sanitize flooring and upholstery
• Traveling between facilities within a designated route
• Maintaining floors and upholstery in assigned facilities
• Performing general cleaning and special projects as needed, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, ceiling vent cleaning, and restroom sanitation
• Closing work orders using a Computerized Maintenance Management System via cellphone, iPad, or computer
• Communicating professionally with colleagues and customers
• Managing inventory of supplies and tools in vehicles
• Maintaining company vehicle and electronics

Hours & Work Schedule

40 hours per week with potential overtime during evenings and weekends. Work schedule: 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday through Thursday.
