Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Floor Care Lead to coordinate the Floor Care Program, inspect areas and equipment, and ensure sanitation and OSHA compliance.

The role includes training, monitoring, reporting, and records management; the incumbent will work Wed-Sun 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM with a pay range of $19–$20 per hour. SBM provides comprehensive benefits as described on the company site.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, and willingness to share with team.
  • Knowledge of upkeep and care of cleaning equipment.
  • Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitors work activities.
  • Train and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform duties of employees within the program assigned.
  • Write reports such as pass down, weekly, or monthly.
  • Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
  • Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
  • Track supplies inventory and maintenance.
  • Monitor employees for proper use of PPE.
  • Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor.
  • Maintain records and metrics.

Floor Care Lead Job Description

The Floor Care Lead will be responsible for coordinating activities within the Floor Care Program. The individual will inspect and audit areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Perform duties of employees within the program assigned
  • Train and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures
  • Coordinate and monitors work activities
  • Written reports, such as pass down, weekly, or monthly
  • Perform quality, service, and safety inspections
  • Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair
  • Track supplies inventory and maintained
  • Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment
  • Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor
  • Correct at risk behavior immediately, then report to the supervisor immediately
  • Report accidents and incidents to the supervisor immediately
  • Maintain records, i.e. training, inspections, attendance and metric data

Education and/ or Experience: No education requirement 6 mo-1 year experience preferred: or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified
