Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Manager and Assistant Manager, the incumbent maintains cleanliness and attractiveness of public and employee areas within the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Adhere to Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing.
  • Dispose of trash appropriately.
  • Set up, move, or install furniture and pipe-n-drapes as needed.
  • Provide quality customer service to guests and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Assist other departments and undertake special projects as assigned.
  • Understand and follow Seminole policies, procedures, and operations.
  • Promote positive relations with the public and staff.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to stand and walk throughout the shift, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive movements such as bending, reaching, and squatting.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combined with experience.
  • Three to six months of related experience or training preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to casino-related factors such as secondhand smoke and noise.
  • Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, lifting, and reaching, with specific vision requirements.
  • The environment is fast-paced, crowded, and noisy, with exposure to the general public and environmental factors.

Closing:

The Tribal Council favors employment of Native Americans, giving first preference to Seminole Tribe members who meet job requirements, followed by other federally recognized Native American Tribes. Final candidates will need to pass background checks, credit checks, criminal background checks, and drug screening as part of the employment process.
