Job summary

Happy State Bank is seeking a Teller II (Float) to process transactions quickly and accurately while upholding service quality standards. You will float between branch locations, handle cash, deposits, withdrawals and transfers, and cross-sell bank products.

Maintain a neat teller area and balance vaults as assigned, with adherence to safety and bank policies. The role requires high school or GED plus 12–18 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with emphasis during high school in office skills or related areas, plus 12–18 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to effectively communicate information in person-to-person and small group situations with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with money (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Receives, pays out cash, handles negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals and transfers.
• Sets up, closes and balances teller station.
• Records sales of monetary instruments and maintains accurate records.
• Cross sells bank products and services.
• Maintains neat and well stocked teller area.
• Assists with balancing Vault, ATM, Night Drop, Coin Machine as assigned.
