PlainsCapital Bank is seeking a Floating Teller/Customer Service Representative to handle a range of financial transactions and assist customers with accounts at multiple Fort Worth area branches. The role blends teller tasks with customer service and cross-selling opportunities within a community banking setting.

The position emphasizes accurate cash handling, notary service, and maintaining security while delivering friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year retail customer service or banking experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with a calculator.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service including prompt acknowledgement, a friendly disposition, and accurate processing of customer transactions.
• Processes transactions such as cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and change orders.
• Responds to routine inquiries regarding bank products and services in person, by phone, or by mail.
• Offers notary service.
• Performs branch opening and closing duties in line with security and dual control requirements.
• Maintains and balances daily cash drawer, ATM, and other receipts; assists in vault balancing.
